The den mother of the group. Ma’s presence on board is the result of a one night stand. She can’t cook, she can’t clean, but she can sew up their constantly shredded clothes. She’s about as crass as Jo-Jo, but much prettier, despite some scars on her face. Ma is the backup (or mop-up) crew, not a front line miner. She takes the wheel while the captain and second-in-command hit the surface to lead mining expeditions. She’s also an expert with the ship’s electronics, used to guide the miners through the internal mazes of the asteroids, adjust explosives placement, etc…
